Job Description Under the supervision of the Manager of Supply Chain Strategy & Integration, the Strategy Purchasing Analyst Principle is responsible for and directs the tactical implementation of the strategic procurement activity within the S&I procurement group. The Strategy Purchasing Analyst Principle is responsible for contributing sound business judgment to define a comprehensive strategy resulting in superior cost, availability performance, and overall enablement of program execution. To further the development and implementation of commodity strategies, the Strategy Purchasing Analyst Principle will engage in a high degree of collaboration and communication with strategy analysts, engineering, programs, finance, manufacturing, contracts, the end customer, and other Supply Chain areas. This cross-functional coordination will typically include engagement on integrated product teams (IPTs), where the Purchasing Manager will provide technical and other input to influence key aspects of the design process.
