To help support our amazing growth, we are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager
to support our demand generation strategy. We are a talented, creative, and passionate team of employees with a clear vision for the future and we are looking for YOU to help us create it.
This position will play a critical role in managing the operations and information related to the execution of demand generation campaigns. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to help them create, launch, and manage well segmented and targeted programs. This includes maintaining the infrastructure and tools and managing the marketing contact database. You will be the focusing on data quality, analysis, segmentation, and acquisition throughout the customer lifecycle – from lead through to ongoing customer service. In addition, we will look to you to help define and implement our strategy for overall marketing measurement, dashboards and reporting.
Manage and facilitate proper usage of Salesforce as the “power user” and go to person for the sales and marketing teams.
Support the execution of integrated inbound and outbound marketing and lead nurture campaigns.
Develop and implement strategy for ongoing data import, validation, augmentation, and enhancement of the marketing database.
Evaluate and select various data suppliers and enhancement technologies.
Optimize the database for greater campaign effectiveness through segmentation, streamlining of the lead routing/follow-up process, and expansion (data stewardship, de-duping, cleansing, normalization, data acquisition).
Improve account targeting and allocation through management of key data (account hierarchies, industry, employee size, revenue, named accounts).
Develop and implement strategy for ongoing control, maintenance and enhancement of existing marketing database: process, standards, access control, and documentation.
Define and implement lead scoring and routing rules to ensure proper assignment and follow-up.
Define marketing analytics and create dashboards and reports to measure all aspects of the operations: database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, lead distribution, pipeline contribution, ROMI, overall marketing performance.
Provide leadership in defining, mapping and documenting key marketing operational processes.
4 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing operations
4 year degree in business, marketing, mathematics, database administration or related field
Strong knowledgeable background in data mining & analysis
Experienced in data maintenance and cleansing tactics
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com and marketing automation tools such as Eloqua or Marketo
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including charts, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Process and quality orientation with attention to detail
General understanding of lead management processes and technologies
Understanding of SIC code structure and/or alternative regional Industry coding
Knowledge of BI and reporting tools such as QlikView
Innovative, motivated, organized, high energy team player
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
