Ã¯?• Ensures that all vendors and suppliers are properly set up in the vendor master file in accordance with corporate policies.\r
Ã¯?• Initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts, services, and/or special tools; arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required; close coordination with plant engineering to assure timely execution of product and services sourcing activities.\r
Ã¯?• Prepares and issues purchase orders. Negotiates prices, delivery, credit terms, and all conditions with vendors and suppliers, and maintains accurate procurement records. Expedites purchase orders and delivery of items, material, equipment, components, and services to ensure uninterrupted and maintenance activities. Secures and analyzes quotations, perform comparison analysis, recommends suppliers with respect to cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness for assigned responsibilities.\r
Ã¯?• Receives and reviews SAP and other purchase order requests to accommodate maintenance requirements, ensuring compliance to company policy. Verifies accuracy and secures approvals. Obtain management approvals of POs based on corporate policies. Request vendors and suppliers to approve issued POs.\r
Ã¯?• Maintains rapport and good working relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors and other internal departments (e.g., Maintenance, Accounting), and keeps adequate historical records of transactions. Works closely with the Supply Chain department to ensure proper supplies arrived as requested. As needed, visits suppliers' facilities to support their qualification as new sources, and assists in the resolution of production, design, quality, and/or delivery problems.\r
Ã¯?• Receives and reviews purchase order claims, requests, invoices and contracts for conformance to company policy. Follows up and resolves, working closely with Accounting and Supply Chain, price and conditions discrepancies among the PO, invoice and receiving report. \r
