Role Summary:

The Controls & Accessories Senior New Product Introduction (NPI) buyer will be responsible for NPI commercial program management and buyer development and performance coaching to drive the C&A organization to meet its advanced technology milestones in collaboration with design engineering, product line management, and supply chain leadership. You will ensure on time delivery for development programs in order to execute on customer commitments.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilitres include:

Provide buyer coaching on supplier communications & negotiations

Support meetings with suppliers & business leaders

Review PO documentation & POR feedback, provide direction for corrections and support meetings with compliance

Attend regular meetings with buyer teams to flow down program intel and receive buyer updates

Share performance feedback to buyers through conversations & PD insight tool

Signature authority for PO folders, LOI documents & MOA approvals

Authority to influence buyer priorities, NPI ownership, & escalate engagement of supplier business leaders

Support buyer goal setting, collaborate with commodity leaders on buyer performance and formalize participation in PD process

Collaborate with engineering owners, ensure on-time & robust SOW deliver and maximize timing & value in supplier negotiations

Drive buyer execution of simplified RFQ & MOA processes, uphold lead times required for on-time delivery to customer

Identify & mitigate compliance risk, direct engagement with sourcing & MSO compliance, legal counsel, & program leaders

Place and follow-up on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP. Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Buying/Procurement, Development Purchasing, Government Contracts, Supply Chain or Sourcing ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT : This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment. Desired Characteristics:

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
