Ability to apply critical thinking in dealings with business areas and vendors Required Competencies: Job knowledge and results; Project Management; Vendor Management; Group Leadership skills; Interpersonal and customer relations skills; Analysis and decision making; Communication; Self-Management The Contract Administrator is responsible for executing sourcing events in compliance with local and System procurement policies and may include responsibilities supporting activities associated with the administering of the Bank Procurement Card (PCard) program. This role may be assigned responsibility for handling relationships with significant impact on the procurement operations. Principal Accountabilities Administers acquisitions not requiring bidding (i.e., renewals, exceptions, amendments, etc.) timely, efficiently, and in compliance with the Model Acquisition Guidelines (MAG) and all Bank and System procurement policies, standards, and procedures. May include support in the PCard program, including conducting periodic reviews of bank-wide activity for compliance, providing written reports to Bank management, evaluating options to expand the program and facilitating bank-wide education and training. Demonstrates analytical skills and the ability to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Identifies opportunities to meet customer needs, demonstrating initiative and flexibility to provide efficient solutions while adhering to procurement policies. Evaluates processes and provides input on process improvement and procurement policies Collaborates with sourcing specialists to provide support on compliance and contract administration throughout the strategic sourcing acquisition process. Leverages technology to its highest extent possible and plays a critical role in the implementation and upgrade of procurement applications. Assist with the administration of procurement applications Provides effective consultations to management, including senior level management, to ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and procedures and better understanding of the procurement process. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholders and Legal. Acts as intermediary between business areas, Legal and vendors. Administers procurement applications. Effectively performs records retention activities for the procurement function. Partners with departments to promote diversity and inclusion in the acquisition process to strengthen the Bank's supplier diversity vision. Partner with the NPO to leverage on its expertise and assist with related work as necessary. Other Accountabilities Performs other duties as assigned.
