Job Title: Purchasing Administrator \/\u00a0Buyer Location: Novi, Michigan Objective of the Position: Provides administrative assistance to the Supply Chain department by creating purchase orders and requirement contracts, and assisting with purchasing documentation. Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures that: Issue and send purchase orders and requirement contracts, both direct and indirect to suppliers. Store in SAP\/Network drive First contact to suppliers in all open topics related to procurement on plant level Covers all aspects of the operational side \u2014 P.a's, payments, disputes, etc First contact for questions about supplier scorecard i.e. rating of suppliers Escalate severe issues with suppliers to next level in BU Commodity Management Support Commodity Buyers during RFQ and kickoff stages and in developing sourcing strategy, Responsible for maintaining contracts in CDB. ECM- (Engineering Change Management)) Tracking for EC within responsible plant Supports VANE projects on plant level and report out.
