OverviewnElement has an opportunity for a Procurement Administrator to join our growing team. The primary function of the Procurement Administrator is to ensure efficient purchasing of items required in the Lab. This role will oversee inventory of consumables, outside contracting of test items, and PO creation using AX system.n nThis role requires a person to efficiently multi-task, possess excellent customer service skills and have strong leadership qualities.n nAt Element our shared purpose of u2018Making tomorrow safer than todayu2019 is what brings us together. This is what sets us (and you, if you join usu2026) apart from the crowd.n nSalary: $24-$27/hrn nnResponsibilitiesnn Create and Manage the POs thru the lab to ensure smooth most cost-efficient methods.n Monitor, Order, and Restock parts vending machine with consumables and safety itemsn Manage contracts with company vendors to ensure best prices.n Work with Department Managers and to ensure the least number of POs are created to fulfill needs.n Work between vendors and accounting verifying POs match with invoices.n Track and record ordersnnSkills / QualificationsnIs this job for me?n nThis is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need :nn 2-5 years' experience in procurement or purchasingn Position is primarily based in a machine shop environmentn Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)n Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple prioritiesn Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs.n Good interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respectnn nNOTE:  This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.  U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
