Job Description: Responsible for the planning and development of local purchases for the plant, including production material, non-production materials, tools & services in line with global purchasing policy, with the targets and business plan. Member of local plant management team, and global purchasing team. Identifies, assess and introduces the suppliers required to ensure the success of the Greenfield project in Mooresville, and works in close cooperation with the plant management team for this purpose Create and develop relationships with key suppliers Negotiate the purchases and establish payment terms and conditions, negotiates and signs the contracts with suppliers Creates and approves purchase requests according to the policies of the client Review and assess the suppliers, carries out supplier audits, cooperates with quality to identify the solutions to technical problems related to suppliers, Monitors the suppliers\u2019 improvement, define and implement remedial and preventive measures and require their implementation at the suppliers\u2019\u00a0 Manages relationships with suppliers: productivity management, tracking and searching for global saving Controls the purchase of tools, molds and special machines Monitors and measures purchases, develops and implements strategies for product purchases Manages the purchasing process; monitors and complies with process-related indicators in accordance with the quality and environmental management system requirements Develops and monitors cost-saving activities\u00a0 For the project phase, provides supportive materials for RFQ: consultation with suppliers, cost of direct material at project stage, cost of new components and tooling Reporting activity.
