Immediate need for an MRO Buyer at a world wide leading heavy industrial manufacturer located near Morgantown, WV. This role is responsible for the procurement of high volume MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) type commodities. The ideal candidate will have the right balance of administrative and technical (procurement MRO) experience for a manufacturing organization to be considered. Responsibilities for the Buyer
Responsible for procurement of high volume MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) type commodities
Assure Suppliers are fulfilling the agreed upon delivery times as specified on all purchase orders
Reviews all open orders on a weekly basis for critical shipments and or requirements
Communicate and assist in resolution of all potential delivery, pricing, invoice issues, or questions from suppliers, or internal customers
Assist with data collection, and administrative projects such as scanning, filing, mail, as required.
Requirements for the Buyer
Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Engineering Technology degree required
Must have at least two (2) years of MRO procurement experience
Experience in MRP systems (Maximo and SAP Procurement)
Ability to establish objectives for reducing cost
Excellent benefits package
