Approximately 1,800 employees workat one of four manufacturing facilities and engage in the production anddistribution of leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue,napkins, towels). We are looking for a fulltime Purchasing Supply Analyst. This position is an exempt position. A Day In The Life Typically Includes: Createlong term value through excellence in execution, advanced capabilities andprocesses by demonstrating agility, adaptability and alignment with internaland external customers. ManageOutside vendor production requirements with Domestic and International vendorsin accordance with the Supply Plan working to improve case fill rate andminimize out of stocks. Determinerequirements for specified outside purchased items, communication of thoserequirements to the vendor via purchase orders and subsequent follow up toensure timely delivery of product to meet customer demand. Workwith vendors and Georgia-Pacific facilities to ensure raw materials aresupplied in a timely manner to our finished good converters. Responsible forreconciling raw materials monthly. Monitorfluctuations in short term demand to ensure inventory supply is maintained ateach of Georgia Pacific\u2019s stocking locations in concert with the monthlyS&OP process. UtilizeGeorgia Pacific\u2019s Dart invoicing system to resolve invoicing discrepancies. Play an active role in defining start upprocesses on new product launches, product transitions and deletions. Responsiblefor GP owned material depletion on discontinued items. Workwith the accounting group in Atlanta to initiate physical counts andreconciliations at our vendors location on raw materials on anannually\/biannually basis. Identifyand implement process improvements and best practices to drive out non-valueadded work and unnecessary complexity. Lead and facilitateregular discussions with vendors and Procurement to identify opportunities forservice and cost improvements.\u00a0 What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: BA or BS with aconcentration in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Operations Research,Engineering or equivalent experience in Supply Planning or related Supply Chainfield. SupplyChain or Purchasing experience. Proficientin Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel and Outlook PreferredQualifications: APICScertification \u00a0Atleast one year using SAP Skills & Abilities: EffectiveCommunicator (verbal & written) Decisionmaking skills, problem solving skills and excellent time management skills Strong analytical skillswith proficiency in MS Access and MS Excel Demonstrate a sense ofurgency, accuracy, organization, and attention to detail Candidate must demonstrateintegrity and dedication and have a positive work attitude and work ethic Teambuilding skills and the ability to establish effective communications with bothinternal and external customers, such as Supply Planner, Demand Planning,Customer Service, Procurement and Outside Vendors Want to learn more about Georgia-Pacific?
