Please note that you MUST have purchasing experience at least a year. 1. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function. 2. Maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with targeted inventory goals and as set by management, through forecasting, planning and purchase order execution. 3. Manages negotiates Vendor / Supplier Agreements 4. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. 5. Communicates with cross-functional departments regarding the status of product purchases and inventory levels. 6. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. 7. Works with Accounts Payable to authorize payment for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation. 8. Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements. 9. Oversees domestic activities related to procurement of a finished goods, from intent to purchase through delivery of product. 10. Consults with supervisor about problems such as equipment performance, output quality, and maintenance schedule. 11. Issues written and oral instructions. 12. Adjusts errors and complaints. 13. Manages third party logistics; discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with third party logistics, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
